"Where the spirit of the Lord is,
there is Liberty."
II Cor. 3:17

Liberty Fellowship is a group of Christian believers who have joined together
to worship God in spirit and in truth, with the firm conviction that God inhabits the lives of each individual.

We are established on the principle that all Christians are ministers, and that
every Christian should perform the work of the ministry. The life of the church is in its people,
not the building; therefore, our primary focus is on the lives of people.

We come from a variety of church backgrounds as well as some with no church background,
but find a unity in our desire to reach out with the love of the Lord
to the unsaved, the unwanted, the hurt and the lonely.

What we as Christians Believe

While the major beliefs of Christianity are shared by all Christians,
there are degrees of difference in the interpretation of these beliefs and how
they are lived out in everyday life. The experience of being a Christian
begins with a person's lived experiences.

Christianity is a personal relationship with God.

Scripture dictates that we should not only have faith, but be able to provide reasons for why we believe.

1 Peter 3:15 says,
"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."
So we have tried to include several Scriptures here in each section.

  • The Bible is the Word of God.
It is inspired and inerrant in its original autographs.
It is a complete and final revelation of God.
  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17

  • 2 Peter 1:19-21

  • Revelation 22:18-19
  • There is one God and only one God.
He is personal and knowable. He manifests Himself in three persons:
  • the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We as Christians believe that God is the creator of all things.
This same God is also known as three persons:

  • Father or Creator of all

  • Jesus the Son Of God

  • the Holy Spirit
  • The trinity can best be described as three separate beings that do not act in isolation,
in other words, when one being acts the other two do also.
We believe the Trinity to have performed three key functions,
    Creating, Sanctifying and Redeeming.
This basically means that the Trinity brings God's new life to creation,
makes Holy all creation and turns the creation away from sin.

  • Deuteronomy 6:4

  • Matthew 28:19

  • I John 5:7
  • Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin, without sin, and the chosen Messiah
who will one day set up his kingdom on earth.
  • Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead,
ascended back to heaven, and will one day return to this earth again.
  • We as Christians believe in the resurrection of the body. That each believer will be completely human
but transformed - body and soul - for all eternity, and share in the glorious life of Jesus Christ.
This belief is based on the event that is the heart and foundation of all Christian beliefs.
At His resurrection, Jesus Christ, after truly suffering and dying,
was raised to a new life and entered a transformed, victorious and glorified state.

  • All persons are sinners, guilty before God, deserving of judgment, and in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • Salvation from sin, death, and hell is by God's grace, based on the work of Jesus Christ alone.
It is received by faith apart from any human performance or merit.
  • Eternal life is a gift of God and nothing can separate the believer from the love of God.
  • Unbelievers face eternal punishment. Believers face eternal life.
  • All believers should attend a local church for mutual edification, encouragement, evangelism, service and worship.
  • If you are looking for a home church, a place to feel the Holy Spirt embrace you,
we encourage you to join us at Liberty Fellowship for our Sunday Worship services at 11am and 6:30pm.
We also invite you to our Thursday night Bible Study beginning at 7pm.

If you are seeking to know more about Jesus Christ and His claims, we are here to help you.
We would love to share the wonderful truth about why Jesus Christ came into the world.
